Floridians are truly fortunate to have a vibrant cultural tapestry, which provides us with a bounty of talent throughout the state. What better way to celebrate the artists and artisans than to host and showcase our best image makers in the state? 


The Hillsborough Arts Council’s Professional Development for Artists (PDA) Grant Program was established in recognition of the value and important contributions of creative individuals to the cultural vitality of the Hillsborough County.
Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is proud to showcase the work of emerging artists, representing a diversity of styles and media, as part of their annual event. The Emerging Artists Program was created to recognize and showcase the artwork of up-and-coming artists who wish to establish themselves in a professional visual arts career.
Artist Opportunity Funding is designed to support Florida artists at all stages of their careers by providing funding for activities that serve to enhance the artist’s career through artistic or professional development.

The Tallahassee International is an annual juried competition open to artists worldwide 18 years of age or older with all media eligible for consideration. It is juried by selected faculty from the Florida State University College of Fine Arts. First prize is $1000, second prize is $500 and a color catalog is produced. The entry fee is $20 for 2 works. Only one entry per person. The exhibition is scheduled for August 27-September 30, 2018.
