Great Explorations, The Children's Museum

Drawing educational content from the arts, sciences, and humanities, Great Explorations programs and exhibits encourage creative thinking, problem-solving, and discovery. Exhibits invite the participant to touch and explore or role play. Program lessons are presented in a multidisciplinary context and interactive style.

The Palladium Theater

Since its creation in 1998, The Palladium's central mission has been to serve as a community theater. In February 2007, the Palladium Theater became part of St. Petersburg College. In accepting the property, the College made a commitment to continue to operate the Palladium as a community theater, while adding college functions where appropriate.

Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida was founded by Margaret Acheson Stuart (1896-1980) and reflects her vision of providing outstanding examples of world art in an inviting, elegant setting. The Museum opened to the public in 1965. The Museum is dedicated to serving all people by pursuing excellence in art from antiquity to the present through collection, exhibitions, and education for its diverse audiences.

The Dali Museum

The new Dali Museum in St. Petersburg is now open! The Dali Museum is a cultural and educational institution dedicated to increasing knowledge and awareness of Salvador Dali's work and his spirit of discovery and intellectual adventure. Special exhibitions showcase other artists as they relate to Dali, and a representative sample from the permanent collection is always on view.

MOSI (Museum of Science & Industry)

Relying on the valuable history of its predecessor museums, MOSI staff took advantage of the scientific, technological and industrial growth occurring in Tampa and at the neighboring University of South Florida (USF) to design a visionary, high-tech facility. Completed in 1980 and permanently opened to the public in 1982, MOSI has provided public programs and exhibits which support its mission and seek to meet the needs of a growing and vibrant community.
