Professional Develpment - Literacy and Family Services
Lake County Cultural Affairs Council will work with teachers, paraprofessional aides and curriculum specialists to select the most appropriate equipment, materials and supplies needed for the ten new sites at which Start with the Arts has been introduced. Plans also include to provide provisions for the previously established classes using Start with the Arts. In addition, a special program for children will be included at a new jazz festival offered by the Council. The program will serve 450 early childhood students and 30 teachers and 25 paraprofessionals.
