The Florida Federation of Women's Clubs is a non-profit volunteer organization whose purpose is to promote and provide civic, educational and charitable activities. Florida is a member of the GFWC – The Greater Federation of Women’s Clubs.   For more than a century the Greater Federation of Women's Clubs has encouraged women to improve their skills, expand their rights, and apply their special sensitivities to society's problems. Having members in 50 state federations and also in international clubs, it is the oldest and one of the largest volunteer service organizations for women. With the motto "Unity in Diversity", GFWC members annually contribute millions of hours of service through local club efforts.
